We have been learning how to write different poems. Here is my Haiku Poem.

Vaseline saucers

This term we made a Vaseline saucers. We made Vaseline saucers for maths and to learn about Symmetry . It was fun .

 

Christmas tree poem.

First we sketched a Christmas tree and wrote happy thoughts around the edge of it. After that we wrote a poem about Christmas.

Master Piece Term 4

This term we have completed two pieces of art.

One was inspired by an artist named Kadinsky who used coloured circles in his work.
We looked at the contrast between warm and cool colours and the black and white of the buildings.

Something I did well was straight lines .

Something I could improve on are making my buildings less higher.

Greats and Grands day.

Last week we had our Greats and Grands day. We wrote poems for our grandparents. Here is my poem about why my grandparents are so special.

Basic Facts Test Term 3

Here is my basic facts test for term 3. I got 19 out 60 on stage 4 and 30 out of  30 on stage 2-3. I am good at Groupings with 10.  I need to work on adding to 100.

Handwriting

We have been learning to form our letters correctly and to use capital letters in the correct place.I am good at forming some letters correctly. I need to get better at sitting all my letters on the line.

Picasso art

We have been working on using different art techniques to draw our faces. We have used sketching pencils to sketch our faces, making sure we made our facial features an accurate shape, size and putting them in the correct places.

We learnt about Picasso’s style and made our own funky Picasso portraits.

Swimming
