We are learning that Basic Punctuation means that you have a capital letter at the start of a sentence, and a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark at the end of every sentence when you do a piece of writing. The first piece of writing I did was an acrostic poem.

We have been learning about the Treaty of Waitangi. Something new I learned was that James Busby wrote the New Zealand Declaration of Independence.

(a number which ends in zero). We had to choose two Compatible Numbers and another number. Then we had to think of a word problem which used our numbers and give the problem to a buddy to solve. Mrs Ogle, our maths facilitator, said this is called 'posing problems'.
